NCL, Inc. strives to develop leadership qualities within each Ticktocker, whether it’s the natural mentorship between a mother and her daughter, a job position within her class, or modeling leadership by the older classes. Each Ticktocker is required to serve a certain amount of League hours in their job to help ensure their class meetings run smoothly. At least once during the 6-years that a Ticktocker is a member of NCL Inc., Post Oak Chapter, she must take a Board position that requires more leadership than a committee position.


August Kick-Off Meeting

This event is the first meeting of the school year where the entire chapter is present. Each Ticktocker receives training from the Patroness with the same job title detailing the responsibilities. Further in the year, the Patroness mentors the Ticktocker in her job by checking in with her to see if she has questions.


Awards and Installation

At the end of the school year, the chapter recognizes those who met their required hours, those who exceeded their requirements and those who went above and beyond. This is also the time we usher in the new board for each class and for the Patronesses.
